Chris Dahlen
Mad*Pow SVP, Application Development
Solving problems is the chief passion of Chris Dahlen, who is our SVP of Application Development. As the leader of the team that consults on our platform choices, delivers our apps, and watches over the pieces of a solution that the customer trusts but never sees, Chris brings his experience and curiosity to Mad*Pow.
Mad*Pow’s Application Development team is responsible for developing web and mobile applications that meet our clients’ needs and standards while also realizing the experiences that Mad*Pow designs. From a virtual clinic solution designed to delight users, to digital companions that patients rely on every day, to an online directory of providers that organizes a wealth of data and presents it in a way that makes sense to new patients; the team has tackled all of these challenges, bringing innovative approaches and crafty problem-solving to each of our engagements.
After graduating from the University of Chicago, Chris found his way into the tech industry in the mid-‘90s, where he has held roles as a developer and a project manager. He has worked in educational software supporting Pearson, Scholastic and Houghton Mifflin, served small businesses at inc.com, and consulted for Fortune 500 clients at Context Integration. With Mad*Pow, he has built a team of over half a dozen web and mobile application developers who are ready for anything our designers send our way.
Chris lives in Portsmouth with his wife, children’s book illustrator Teri Weidner, and their son. Weekends find them hiking, playing board games, and ducking into Caffe Kilim for a double-shot and a Yoo-hoo.
